Transport of a 1967 Ford Ranchero

I contracted with Auto Shipping Group (Greg Bailey) after receiving a quote online of $845 to transport my 1967 Ford Ranchero from Mississippi to Glendale, Arizona. I had received a number of online quotes and compared these to the ratings on Transport Reviews, and while ASG was not the lowest bid, I chose them based on their ratings and cost. Greg called and said that due to the remote rural location it may take longer for a carrier to bid the job. He was right as it took over a week for a carrier to bid the job and it would be for a higher price than quoted (total $1,000). This was no surprise as the contract states this may happen, but Greg offered a $50 reduction in the fee charged by ASG so the total was $950. The car was picked up 2 days early and made it in 5 days. The truck arrived right to my house which was a surprise, good thing too as the right rear tire was flat. The driver was able to drive the car off the truck without damaging anything and was courteous and professional. Throughout the whole process Greg kept me informed of the status and I would use ASG again to transport a vehicle without hesitation.
