Having never transported a car across the nation - this was a new experience to me and one that I was not real comfortable with. I did my homework - I heard all the stories about 'suspect' companies to work with. I selected Auto Shipping Group and Lance Staab specifically based on the reviews that I read. I was not disappointed! Lance made me very comfortable with the entire process. He took the time up front to review the entire process with me - what to expect - when to expect it - when would costs be incurred - etc. By the time we completed that initial process review - I was real comfortable with the timeline and what to expect. Lance found a very good carrier to work with to transport the vehicle as well. The contract was approved approx. 10 days prior to the pickup date - the pickup was confirmed about 2-3 days prior to the date selected. The carrier contacted us when expected to confirm pickup and delivery. The delivery was actually 3 days early from the scheduled delivery date but the driver worked with me to make sure I could accept delivery without impacting my work schedule since it was early. We knew who the contacts were an when we could expect to hear from them for both the pickup location and the delivery location. Lance followed up with me after the pickup and after the delivery to make sure everything was going well. I did have cheaper quotes for this transport when the bid was sent out however working with a trustworthy source and getting good reliable customer service to me is worth more than the cheapest rate and having to worry about 'suspect' companies. If I have to transport another vehicle across country again (and I hope I don't) I will seek out ASG and Lance Staab specifically to handle this for me. Great work ASG and specifically Lance Staab!
