Hi Charles, Thank you for your return business. This is the first time I have worked with you & and am completely surprised by your feedback. Usually when you go online & request a quote you will received 6-10 automated quotes. As a return customer you received quite a discount on the administrative fee to help w/ the over all cost of your shipping budget. You placed the reservation online on 4/28, the order was assigned to a carrier on 5/1, your truck was picked up on 5/3 & delivered on 5/5. I'm happy to explain the different in price. The difference in price was the quoted carrier fee. The carrier fee is the cost the carrier is charging to transport the vehicle. This is portion you give the driver on delivery in a form of cod. I'm happy to explain the different in price.The truck was larger in size than the classification in the original quote. The vehicle is inventory on the truck during the transport & shipping a small old school pick up truck is cheaper than shipping a Chevy Silverado 2500 HD for example. Also the original quote was supposed to be for standard shipping & you were getting charged storage fees & only had a 3 day window. It's not about our ethics here. You forgot to factor the truck size & your itinerary which was explained since you gave the green light to reserve a spot with the carrier interested. The order was set up originally as a smaller truck & no deadlines or time constraints & then the truck was larger with deadlines involved. I called you to go over the dispatch update which included best rate from the carriers interested on the route during your window of availability & you said you would rather put the $ to the carrier versus paying storage so you agreed to the carrier price fee. Next you accepted our terms & conditions well before pick up. You had the option to wait for the next set of carriers but you were not flexible in your itinerary. This review is a total surprise to me. I think it's important to read a company's terms & conditions before you accept them. On Friday when I followed up to gather the delivery feedback you told me you were very Happy & asked me to email the review link to rate my customer service & then I read this. Had you read what you accepted I believe your review would have been nicer & more about the level of customer service I provided. For your convenience- I have copied parts of our transport terms that you accepted well before pick up. Not even a penny was charged to you until the day of pick up when is when the admin fee gets collected. 1. Auto Shipping Group Inc. agrees to have vehicle(s) described in quotation shipped on or about the dates requested. Auto Shipping Group Inc. will find a licensed Carrier (agent) to fulfill the terms and conditions of this agreement. Auto Shipping Group Inc. does not guarantee a specific pickup or delivery date. The normal pick up time frame is 1 to 7 business days. 5. Unlike numerous other shippers, we do not require any money from you until the day your vehicle is scheduled to be loaded on to the assigned carrier. #17 in our transport terms 17.
