Company communicates well, but subcontracted carrier company and driver didn't always keep me and the company updated. Carrier truck broke down a few times, and neither I or the company was immediately aware of this, but also happened over a weekend. Driver told me delivery on “X- morning", twice, but both times did not show and did not call me. I had to call him. The “GPS Tracking” never worked for me. I called to ask about the tracking and was told “not all trucks have this feature”, and that “someone will contact you with an update”. I did get email updates after that. Company did not inform me that there was a subcontractor delivering my vehicle (I was told when I signed my contract they were not using subcontractors), so my cashier's check was made out to the wrong company upon delivery. I found out about the subcontractor upon delivery because my cashier’s check was made out to AutoTransport123 and not the subcontractor. Because of this, the subcontractor would not deliver my vehicle to me and reloaded it back onto the truck—I then had to get a new cashier's check and pickup the vehicle from the depot myself, as they would not deliver it to me again, even with a new check or cash. Overall, communication issues were the crux of the problem. Company customer service called me after delivery for feedback and if I had concerns. They gave me a discount on my final bill for my inconvenience. Company does care about the customer's experience, and I was in contact with numerous people at the company when problems arose. Price was slightly above average (based on three quotes that I had gotten prior to hiring this company). Timeline from “1st available date” for the vehicle to be picked up, to delivery day was fair, at 12 days, from California to Minnesota. Pickup timeline was good, at three-days after placing my order. Customer service rating is for Casey M., my company contact. She did an excellent job of addressing my concerns, along with Keith, the President of AutoTransport123.
