My husband and I recently moved from Minnesota to Oregon and needed to have our car brought out to us. I went on this website as well as many others, looking for a good deal and an honest, reliable company.

I decided to go with this company because they were the cheapest I could find- and the contact, Mark, seemed nice. Little did I know that they would end up costing me just as much as the other guys- and I'd have to wait several weeks before my car would arrive!

I was quoted $825 to have our car trucked from Minnesota to Oregon. I have a signed contract from Mark stating this amount, and he told us our car would be picked up at the end of that week or at the beginning of the following week. At the end of the week, we never received a phone call, so we called Mark- the first of MANY disappointing calls we would make. He told us it would be the following week sometime. So we called at the end of the next week after not hearing anything. He then told us that due to some bad weather (not in Minnesota) he would have to charge us $150 more, or we'd have to wait until Spring. WHAT!? We told him that we have a signed contract for $825, but he said the truckers are charging more for their services. He would not budge, and because I'd already paid the $200 deposit, I did not cancel.

We asked Mark if they would at least be willing to meet us halfway on the difference of the price, he said No, and that ALL of the money was going to pay the trucker- that Auto Transport would not make any money out of the deal. This seemed odd, so we called the company here in Oregon, that was contracted out to drive our truck here (by Auto Transport) and they told us how much they were making out of the deal- it was less than the amount we were paying. We were very disppointed in Mark lying to us, so my husband called him to confront him. He will not return our phone calls.

We ended up waiting SEVERAL WEEKS for our car to arrive in Oregon. It did arrive in one piece, thankfully, despite the insane amount of grime coating it. The way things were going with Auto Transport Center, we were just happy it came at all!

On November 29th we were contacted by Cristina and Mathew to transport their car. As stated we normally do scheduling 7-10 days in advance. Unfortunately, right around that time, due to severe weather up in the Northwest (recall the tragedy on Mt. Hood, OR), many truck drivers opted to run different routes, staying clear of Oregon and Washington State. The only drivers running to that area were requesting more money, which I explained to the couple. We have never experienced this situation before, and I offered to refund the full deposit if they wanted to opt out. I said we cannot count on the severe weather ending until the Spring, not that we would be unable to move the car until Spring. We are always very contactable and accessible. Mathew conferred with his wife and said they would be willing to pay the difference based upon the situation. We promptly contracted a driver willing to run the route. He loaded the car on December 15th, and it arrived in Roseburg on December 20th; so the car was delivered exactly 3 weeks from the day we sent them the original contract (which incidentally, they never signed and returned). We ended up sending the lion’s share of our commission to the driver, keeping only a small portion to cover the many hours of labor time, along with numerous long distance phone calls spent trying to get the vehicle moved.
