I was just about to throw in the towel and drive my 62 impala the 900 miles myself. It seemed like all of these broker companies were promising the moon but nothing seemed right. Margaret at "Auto Transport On Demand" also came on pretty heavy at first but she was patient, gave me time to consider, called when she promised, and eventually convinced me that they would do a proper job. At first she was trying to schedule around my move date so I would be able to be at both ends of the transport, but when I told her my son was available at the destination, Margaret was able to schedule an immediate Friday pickup and a weekend delivery so my son wouldn't miss any work. The driver called the day before and said he would be at my house on Friday around Noon. He was there at 12:05. His rig was new and he very skillfully loaded my baby, and said he would call on Saturday. I received a call Saturday at 5:00 PM, but it was not from Peter (the driver), it was my son calling to tell me the car had arrived in perfect condition and was in the garage at my new home. I didn't mention that my plans changed a couple of times also. Overall I had a good experience with the company and the driver. Margaret did call me later to follow up and make sure all went well. Don't let Margaret's enthusiasm scare you off!
