Tempe to Miami great deal, great company

I am very grateful to Autostar and specially to Andrew O'Driscoll for helping us get our new car to our home in Miami. We recently purchased a Dodge Durango in Tempe AZ, as we were shopping for a very particular model and color set. After having finally found it, I was concerned as i searched through the web and found tons of horror stories from people like me that had never done this and ended having nightmare stories about U-ship, bogus carriers, sleazy brokers and drivers. Thank God for this website as well, it gave me the opportunity to evaluate the general customer experience from all the brokers that responded to my online request.

Andrew offered a candid approach to patiently explaining the entire process, he explained that he was a broker and what that meant, and what steps they took to select the carriers to ensure that as much as possible they protect your investment. I know it's just a car, but i never realized how emotional this process can really become as you stress a lot thinking of everything that could happen. Additionally i called a couple of times during the transport period to request tracking and spoke to the ladies in customer service and was pleasantly surprised on how courteous they were and how quickly they communicated back to me. Based on the explanation on how things work in this business I was ready to wait several days for pickup and delivery especially since this transport was close to 2300 miles, but I was very fortunate an the carrier forecasted the pickup and the delivery to the tee. The driver for the carrier they chose was also very courteous, calling me directly the last few hours of his trip to make sure that we worked out the delivery and he showed up exactly at 2PM as he had promised. Once again, thanks Autostar and Andrew for making the selection process so much easier and most of all for executing as planned. Great company, I would use again if I needed and would truly recommend that if you need a transport broker you call Andrew

Dear Alex, Firstly Thank you for you review but to be honest you made this easy for yourself and just like you, ANYONE can have the same GREAT experience you had. Its EASY really just keep these simple TIPS in mind when choosing your broker. We all want the BEST price but PLEASE DO NOT choose the CHEAPEST quotes you receive. WHY you ask? Think about the actual CARRIER that will be transporting your vehicle, the GOOD drivers (like Alex's driver) have costs, rising fuel prices, insurance, maintenance and they need to make a profit to stay in business, like us all! They will ONLY accept vehicles that pay in this BRACKET because lower than this they just do not make any money from them. The LOWER QUOTES only attract BAD drivers as they cut corners hence all the BAD REVIEWS. LOOK for the MIDDLE of the road prices, this is what the GOOD brokers will be quoting you, (like AUTOSTAR). Do your RESEARCH on this site, so you can get a feel for the company's BACK GROUND and REVIEWS. only CHOOSE 1 BROKER to use. As if you have more than 1 this actually works against you, it's like sending two agents to bid on the same house for you, you will get the house but in the end you just bid against yourself. CALL the company you have chosen, EXPLAIN your situation to your broker, the GOOD brokers will tell you the TRUTH and sometimes this is NOT what you want to hear but is VITAL to having the same experience as Alex. THEN RELAX leave your transportation in the hands of your broker, he or she will work on your behalf to your specified needs and you should have the same GREAT transport as Alex did.
