Autostar shipped my car from Houston to Newport Beach, CA using Landspeed Auto Transport as the carrier. When the car arrived over $300 of personal items were stolen, I had filled up the car in Houston wiht gas hours before loading on the truck and it was out of gas (warning light on) and there were 475miles driven on the odometer since it was loaded. Autostar has done nothing to resolve my claim and Landspeed won't answer the phone. WARNING IF YOU USE AUTOSTAR be prepared for losses.

We apologize that items were allegedly stolen from inside the vehicle, and for any additional mileage the car was allegedly driven and we are looking into this matter. As with any case like this that may involve insurance claims, there lies the burden of proof. We have asked the customer on multiple occasions for pictures, copies of the bill of lading, damage estimates and to date, we have not received ONE SINGLE piece of supporting documentation from Dan.The Customer was made aware that items in the car are not allowed by law, and any such items would not be insured, which is also stated in our contract. We provided the Customer with all of the contact information for the carrier to resolve this with them directly. . We hope to find a satisfactory resolution to this matter.
