Everything was pretty painless with the arrangement of my car's pickup, but there was a little bit of an issue with the delivery. I got a call from AutoStar saying that the carrier was going to call to arrange delivery that afternoon, but I never heard from them until around 8 PM, when they called to say they were 30 minutes away. By this point I had assumed that they were not delivering the car that day, and hadn't gone to the bank to get the $1000 (cash or cashier's check) that they needed upon delivery of my vehicle. If I wasn't able to get the money, they said they would have to charge for delivering it another time, and/or I might have to pay for storing my car, and maybe pick it up over an hour away. I managed to get the money, but it would have been nice to have had more notice beside a phone call that they would be at my apartment in half an hour. Beside that, everything went fine. The car was in good condition when it arrived.

We appreciate all feedback with regards to the service we provide and the service of the carriers that are assigned to transport the vehicles. All customers are advised at time of dispatch, ETA date for pickup and delivery. Since this was a cross country CT to CA route customer was advised at time of dispatch that once picked up this would be a 7-10 day trip. We also ask all our carriers to please give a courtesy call 3-24 hours prior to arrival. Customer had a minium 7 days to arrange a trip to the bank, and still chose to do so at the very last minute, despite AutoStar calling him the morning of the delivery day and reminding him delivery would be that evening.
