Transport of two cars across the country

Fantastic company!

We were so worried about sending our cars across the country given the many horror stories we read on review sites. This transaction was highly professional. The Autostar broker was Michael Castro and the cars were transported by Alafia. The truck driver was an independent driver for Alafia, his wife, Jennifer Laverde was the contact person. We had her cell phone number and customer service was high, and they are highly dependable.

When they picked up the two cars from us, they could not enter our street due to many trees and construction of a new home down the block. While loading our cars, they had to move the truck three times to clear driveways for people. The pickup took quite a long time because of this. When they dropped off the cars, the cars were in original condition, the odometers were exactly where they had been when the cars were dropped off, as I had photographed the odometer at drop off. The cars arrived two and a half days early, and the driver waited for us. The drivers were very polite despite being held up by us for two more days.

I have a better appreciation for this industry after transporting our vehicles, and I can now better understand why there are delays, and why pick up and drop off times cannot be predicted, this is a highly unpredictable industry. We are glad our experience was positive. The price was also very fair.
