I had contacted AutoStar after a very bad experience with another company. They were $200 more expensive but my wife was impressed with their knowledge and honesty. What happened was this. I initially booked the contract with Mark who promised a Saturday or Sunday pickup which didn't happen. I sent an email on Sunday and got a call back from Mark on Monday apologizing for not picking up the truck but that he had been contacted by the carrier (trucker) that on the way to pick up my truck he had to enter the weigh scales and based on the weight of the vehicle, if the carrier picked up my truck it would put him overweight. I told Mark that I was going to try to find another company to work with. On that Monday I contacted 2 different carriers and they were both at least $300 more expensive and the time to get the vehicle to me was between 3 and 4 weeks. I almost went with the one but said I would call them back if I decided to use them. I was then contacted by Mike from AutoStar and told of a truck that could pick up my vehicle either that evening or the following day and get it to me by Saturday or Sunday. I gave them another chance and I am so glad I did. My truck made it 2800 miles in a little over 2 days! It was incredible! The best part was that all the other carriers would have made me pick up the truck in Seattle, which is a 5 hour round trip and AutoStar delivered less than 3 miles from my house. They really made up for dropping the ball the first time and I would recommend them highly.
