Customer booked an order with the first available release date of 11/13. On 11/10, customer called and changed the first available date to 11/16. On 11/15, customer called and advised us that he needed to expedite the service since he was now not going to be available after the 17th. As any good broker in the business would do, we listed the vehicle at an expedited price, and were able to secure a carrier immediately for only $110 more. (Normal expedites range from $200 - $400 depending on the route) Customer agreed to the price, and even signed a new contract at the expedited price! The carrier was assigned, and the vehicle was picked up on the very FIRST day of availability of the 16th, and delivered cross country in just 7 days. We did exactly what the customer asked us to do. You cannot expect to get expedite service without paying for it. Just ask FedEx, UPS or any other shipping service to expedite your package, for the regular rate!!
