I have a pretty mixed review. I am not one to write long reviews unless I feel it’s warranted.

I booked over a month in advance for a East to West coast move. 24 hours before my scheduled pickup, I receive a confirmation call that my car is being picked up the next day. The next day I did not hear from anyone. I had to call to get an update, the carrier’s truck broke down. I understand these things happen and Autostar was working to find me a carrier. They found a carrier, and made me pay an extra $50. 3 days goes by, my car still hasn’t been picked up, I don’t have an update from anyone and I have to call multiple times. Apparently the second carrier canceled. Finally 4-5 days later, my car is picked up. The driver was polite and professional. I was inconvenienced as I did not have a car for 4 days, when I booked in advanced, the truck broke down, and I had to pay an extra $50. I finally received my car 4 days later. Again, it was the same driver that picked up my car and was a smooth dropoff. I did not have a positive experience with Autostar, I believe the communication could have been better, and I should not have had to pay an extra $50 due to the carrier’s truck breaking down and Autostar needing to find a new carrier, however, the carrier overall wasn’t an issue. I am not sure if I would use Autostar again, after having this experience. I only gave 3 stars because the carrier made sure my car was delivered safely and on time.
