I searched through the reviews and various carriers/brokers. I actually narrowed it down to two other 5* companies with prices of $975 and $965. Then I came across AutoStar which had good reviews as well and tried to get an online quote (problem was the year in the drop-down menu on their quote page wasn't updated for 2010), but instead gave a call for an instant quote. No answer so I just hung up. Within 10 minutes Mark returned my call (apparently he has caller ID!). I got a $950 quote and felt comfortable with everything he was saying, plus the no-pressure sell. So right there and then I placed my order.

My pickup was to be either on a Monday or Tuesday, and with standard transport timelines, delivery withing 3-4 days. The transport company, JSP Auto(Jeff), picked up my Porsche on Tuesday evening and I was the last pickup in CA (4 of 5 car slots were full) before the fifth pickup in Arizona. I preferred to have my vehicle on the top, and JSP accommodated. Then I was to be the first dropoff in TX! Awesome.

The dropoff was on-time and JSP was very careful during inspection that not even a single scratch occured. The only negative, if it can be considered one, is that JSP delivered so quickly (Tuesday evening pickup, Friday morning delivery) that I had to leave CA a half day earlier to catch up to JSP. But I would rather have my vehicle delivered quickly than to remain in a transport truck any longer than needed.

Overall an Excellent experience with AutoStar and JSP Transport. I would happily give both companies my business in the future.
