I selected Autozipper after reading many of reviews on companies that supplied more and less expensive quotes. The web quote Autozipper provided was one of the lower ones I received and less than what I ended up paying. However, Brian was straight up with me explaining the pricing process and how a slightly higher shipping preice would encourage drivers to want to transport the car.

After settling on the price and availability date for the next week, we were all set. Brian called me *the next day* to say that the car was being scheduled for transport within a couple of days. I'm all for prompt service but I was going to be out of town and wasn't sure how I would be able to meet the driver. After some negotiations, we settled on a time and as it turns out I had to take the car over to the mechanic's who agreed to meet the driver. I already had folks lined up to meet the car at the other end even though this was all happening over a week early and I wouldn't be there either!

The pick up communication wasn't perfect, the driver didn't show up at the initial appointment, but they had given us a window of time. The driver did call and show up for pick up attempt #2. I was able to get confirmation of pickup both from the actual carrier and Brian an AutoZipper after a few phone calls along with a ball park delivery time estimate on the other end.

The delivery driver called me and the delivery contacts in plenty of time to make sure someone would be available to receive the car (and pay the driver). The car arrived no worse than when it had left and everything worked out just fine.

On-line tracking would have been a nice feature, but Brian did a good job of e-mailing me and leaving voice messages in that department. He was exceptionaly courteous on the phone and patient with all my questions. As for the communication hiccups, they were expected to some degree and certainly didn't cause any major problems. I would definitely use AutoZipper again when shipping a car.
