As a matter of fact Mr. Hutton did report us to the BBB, what he does not state here is that the BBB sided with us. An email received from Mr. Hutton on 3/15/08 included this direct quote "I’m sorry I wasn’t able to push the BBB complaint through".
Mr. Hutton was not satisfied with the service provided, but in no way can we be held responsible for that. Mr. Hutton's vehicle was in fact scheduled for pick up the same day he placed the order, with the pick up date being the following day. The seller of the vehicle refused to release the vehicle as payment had not yet been received. Our dispatchers then put this back on the board for scheduling.
The second truck was scheduled within 6 days, and this timeframe included Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. The vehicle was then picked up and transported successfully. Mr. Hutton does not state here why he felt the service was so poor, but I can only assume that the issue of rescheduling is what he must be referring to.
You will note that he states that the pick up happened Never and that the delivery took 11 days from the date of pick up. As a matter of fact, the delivery took place 11 days from the date the order was originally placed. In this amount of time, we secured not one, but two carriers for Mr. Hutton's vehicle. There was no additional charge for scheduling a second truck. As we allow the customers to set the first available date, it is the customers responsibility to make sure the vehicle is ready on the date they have provided.
As always, we would advise any potential customer to check the BBB rating of any carrier they are considering by visiting www.BBB.org. The BBB actually investigates this type of claim, and based on the documentation provided, decides the validity. Posting boards such as this do not investigate the validity of any claim, and rank based only upon one side of the story.
