Having never moved across country and having no knowledge of the process of moving a vehicle, I thought I had done my homework in researching and checking out companies. Unfortunately for me, this particular site came after I got sucked into one of the worst experiences I have ever dealt with, being a consumer. I was originally quoted a price of $1,035, but when my car didnt get picked up 7 days after my specified pick-up date, I was told by this compnay, that for an additional $225.00, I could get it picked up sooner. I agreed, assuming it would be picked up within the 7-10 day window of my available date. WRONG! My car was picked up on the 19th of July and was not delivered to California until August 5th, almost 3 weeks later, not to mention that I believe my car may have been driven part of the way because I found a mans overnight toiletry kit in a box I packed in the car holding my own personal belongings. Except for the filthy windows INSIDE the the car, I'm happy it was delivered in one piece.

All of this would not have been a problem to me if the company had explained the details involved and not ignored my constant messages and emails. Not once did anyone respond to my inquiries! This poor customer service added to my frustration and anger and has forced me to file a complaint with the BBB. In addition, because I did NOT get my car picked up sooner for the "HOTSHOT" rate that I was charged, I will be filing a claim in small claims court. I am confident that I will win this claim because all of this was done by verbal agreement, with nothing in writing. I insisted several times for an updated agreement, but never received one. This will cost BT Express $225 plus the additional expense that I had to foot for a car rental because they did not hold up to their oral claim of delivering within 7-14 days and all of the aggravation I had to deal with.

Their website and quote advertises "Professional, High Quality" service, "Competitive Pricing and Outstanding Customer Service", "On Time Pick-Up and Delivery" and more. Who wouldnt be attracted to such high claims? This company should change its name to BS Express. Perhaps it was the fact that I had to transport from NY to CA, but if that was the case, then the company should have had the courtesy to warn me or at least return my calls or make some sort of communication effort. My rating for this company is 00000000000 for the worst of the worst. And a suggestion for anyone contemplating this type of service, do your homework before signing an agreement and mark down your odometer reading and make sure the driver sees this before he takes your car away.

Good luck to anyone thinking about transporting your vehicle. If it sounds too good to be true, then beleive that it is. It may be worth it to pay a little more and be reassured that your car will be taken care of in a responsbile way and the service you are paying for will be done in a timely matter.

Again, we cannot verify the validity of this complaint as there is not an order number, and we have searched through our files for the time of year that this was booked and our records with the BBB. We can assure you that no suit was ever filed in small claims court.......so is this complaint legitimate? At BT Auto Transport, we value all of our customers. When transporting a vehicle, we believe you should research any company you consider using. We recommend that you do not use propaganda sites where the information may come from competitors, or from companies themselves in the case of good reports. Please consider using the Better Business Bureau where all complaints are verified, validated and resolutions are posted.
