We apologize that you were unhappy with our service, not our intention as you can see from our many satisfied customers.
Unfortunately purchasing a vehicle from an auction affords you the luxury of a great reduced price but it can also be hindrance since auctions will charge storage fees. Your requested quote for transport was noted as a "running" unit - after pricing you , it was then as "non-running" . This can affect price , your shipping agreement states that while we quote you based on many factors and always try to obtain the best price for you , your price could increase due to the remoteness of a location or the vehicle being in-operable or the flow of traffic in any one direction.
Bears Transport relayed this information to you verbally and contractually as signed and agreed to.
We also called 3-way to many carriers in this route and presented the vehicle for transport , while customer was involved with all of these conversations. The carrier selected priced us at 1300.00 on delivery . The customer agreed to this price and chose carrier based on numerous declines from other carriers.
Bears Transport contributed 100.00 towards your transportation cost to carrier in order to assist with the difference. Your transport was an "open carrier" transport exposed to weather elements, so yes, your vehicle will reflect that .
Your total was 1398.00, not 1500.00 as stated above, and again we apologize that you were unhappy with the service provided . We encourage you to always provide all feedback so we can provide better service in the future.
