WARNING!! Jim Powers cashed my $1,350 check and did not provide the contracted auto transport service!

September 7, 2017 - signed and submitted contract for order #1777 with Jim Powers and Best Direct Shipping for the auto transport of vehicle. Pick-up scheduled for September 22-23 in Burnsville, MN. Delivery to Las Vegas, NV to be September 26-27.
September 8, 2017 - $1,350 check was FedEx overnight service to Jim Powers to secure the auto transport of vehicle.
September 14, 2017 - $1,350 check was cashed -endorsed by Best Direct Shipping.
September 22, 2017 - Email sent to Jim Powers regarding scheduling a dispatch driver as nothing had been communicated to me. His email response indicated a driver would pick it up tomorrow (9/23) and would contact me with pick-up detail information.
September 23, 2017 - Another email sent to Jim Powers requesting when the pick-up would occur. Received another email from Jim indicating that the driver would be in contact later.
September 25, 2017 - Email sent to Jim indicating that the pick-up in MN date could slip as we have people in MN who could move the car, the date of October 1 is the firm date that the vehicle must be in Las Vegas, NV as that is the last day that I will have people able to receive the vehicle in NV. Follow-up email from Jim indicating that the vehicle would be picked up tomorrow and that dispatch would call me that night.
September 25, 2017 - PM - Received call from someone saying they were from dispatch and would contact me in the morning for the exact pick-up time.
September 26, 2017 - Email sent to Jim indicating no one had contacted me with the pick-up details. Received email from Jim Powers that the driver would be in contact with me soon.
September 27, 2017 - Two emails sent to Jim inquiring of the pick-up of the car. No response received from Jim. September 28, 2017 - Email sent to Jim requesting info on the pick-up of the car - and to find out if it could possibly make my firm October 1st Las Vegas deadline for auto transport. Another response from Jim indicating that dispatch would be calling me with the driver info/update.
September 29, 2017 - 1 FULL WEEK FROM WHEN CAR WAS SUPPOSED TO BE PICKED UP - Email sent to Jim requesting full refund for the $1,350 and the job that he failed to complete. No response from Jim.
October 2, 2017 - Email sent to Jim requesting necessary steps that need to be done to receive the full refund for order #1777. Email response from Jim indicating that he would send my refund request to customer service and they would process the refund request by Friday.
October 11, 2017 - Email sent to Jim requesting the full $1,350 refund as we have still not received the check. No response from Jim.
I have also left voice mails at the Best Direct Shipping phone number with no response from Jim Powers.
Desired Outcome:
I expect a full refund of $1,350.00 for the check cashed on September 14, 2017 for order placed on September 8, 2017 to pick-up the vehicle in Minnesota on September 22, 2017 and transport it to Las Vegas by October 1, 2017. Jim Powers, and his company Best Direct Shipping, did not transport this vehicle but they did cash the check that was sent for this service.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!
