Yesterday the driver was delayed because his truck broke down. He DID call the pickup contact and apologize that his truck broke down and pickup would be for today. When I found this out this am, the 1st thing I did was call Allan - no answer. So I called the pickup contact, Amy, and she CONFIRMED that the driver did call last night and apologize. I told Amy pickup would be today and she said fine. I just received and email from Allan firing my company for no call no show., This makes no sense. The driver is on his way to pickup the vehicle right now. He will be there in 2 hours. Alan said that is too late, Amy will only be there until 6pm. Forget it - you are fired. When Alan placed his order, he did not say pickup had to be before 6pm. If he had, I would nave made a notation. He even admitted on the phone that he did not know it needed to be before 6 until today when he was told that by Amy. EXAGGERATED complaint to say the least. Trucks break down. As long as there is communication, then there should be no issue. HIS DEPOSIT WILL BE REFUNDED WITH PLEASURE.
