i hired big bens auto and they quoted me a price in march. and then i actually hired them in may and they told me the price was 1900 for 2 cars. i agreed because of gas went up and fair is fair. i paid a 300 dollar deposit over the phone and then i was to have 1600 at arrival spot in a certified check. i agreed. he sent me a contract and the 300 was in there but did not fill in the arrival price and it said nothing about making the check out to the driver. (i made it out to big ben and had to re-do check, what a hassle) driver called me and told me 1800 at drop off and check made out to him. i told him no but my cars were on truck already so i had no choice. he sent me his contract for 1800 from ben. now i realized ben was a broker and just takes 300 off top and driver gets what he gets. driver told me he agreed with me on the 1600 but i still paid him his 1800 so i would get my cars. what do i do?? say no and then what happens to my cars?? so final price was 2100. so BEN IS A BROKER, TAKES MONEY AND DRIVER IS ISSUED CONTRACT WITH A HIGHER PRICE THAN QUOTED. SO YOU HAVE TO PAY DRIVER OR NOT GET CAR..BUYER BEWARE. SCAMMED ME
