Don quoted us $450 from AZ to CO. Called days later later with high-pressure, "no time to review the contract that must be signed in the next minute or lose the contract" pitch. Paid $290 deposit and assumed $160 at delivery. BUT, Autos Direct2U wanted $1100 COD! Big Ben's $450 quote actually cost $1390, twice what other transporters wanted for open carriage, winched delivery. Today, I assume big guys with lead pipes will be knocking on my door and head to get more money out of me, and soon.
