The customers vehicle was picked-up and delivered on time. The customer was instructed several times on which forms of payments are acceptable. He insisted on paying with a personal check, which the carrier JR's Auto Transport (Port Richey, FL) declined. The driver advised the customer on the acceptable payment options prior to delivery, still he insisted on a personal check. Upon delivery, after calling the customer and confirming the delivery schedule, the customer was not in town and could not accept the vehicle until a later date. The carrier is based out of the West coast of Florida and the customers delivery location is on the East coast of Florida. Since, the carrier had to re-deliver the vehicle to him, at a later date, he was charged a storage/re-delivery fee of $100.00 by the carrier and not Bluestar Auto Movers. We tried to waive the fee on his behalf but were un-successful as the carrier incurred additional time and expenses in delivering the customers vehicle. The customer was made aware of the additional fee prior to incurring it and was given the option to resolve the matter by having an associate accept the vehicle and pay the driver on his behalf.
