Much of what is stated in this comment is false. Dwayne contracted with us for next day pick up as he had purchased a vehicle in NY from a dealer. We accepted the order as we were trying to fill a truck for one of our carriers (Brancson Trucking Co.) that had received a cancellation from another broker. The driver had another load destined for Tucson and advised us that $750.00 was fine if he could load it the next day. When our driver attempted to load his vehicle, the dealer declined to release it as he claimed that Dawyne had not paid for the vehicle yet. We immediately called Dwayne and he acknowledged that he had not paid for the car yet. Then why would you ask us to rush your order! His reply was to pick it up in two days. I explained to him that I may not have availability when he would like and that it may be some time before I could re-dispatch his order. The order was later re-assigned to a second carrier (MS Trucking), when they tried to load it the dealer was not prepared and did not have the car on the lot. The dealer advised the carrier that he would need a day to prepare it. I explained to Dwayne that I could not force the carrier to wait overnight. I asked the carrier what he could do and he advised that he would send a local to pick it up and haul it on his next truck. The car was picked up the next day from the dealer by a local and the carrier loaded the vehicle 3 days following that. While we do admit some miss-communication between us and the carrier, we certainly never lied to Dwayne about anything. We answered all his calls promptly and truthfully. We were disappointed when we saw his complaint as we certainly went above and beyond for this customer.
