I went to the internet to ship my car after my dealer posting on Central was not moving the car. I had a lot of quotes and calls.

Dan was the first one to educate me on the transportation business. I then realized all the quotes were from brokers. From his information, I realized that the low quotes were simply to get my business. In reality, the shipping cost would be much higher due to my route. Also all those promises of a truck in the area and specials didn't line up.

All brokers use carriers who look to boards to fill their trucks. I learned this from Dan and eventually confirmed this as I spoke to other brokers who when asked, confirmed the quote or pick-up is not guaranteed.

I thought I would write this because Dan took the time to educate me. He gave me a honest quote higher than others but realistic. He even looked into why my car wasn't moving on Central without any commitment from me and offered advice.

My vehicle moved the next day with the dealer listing on Dispatch but I was about to contract Bulldog because of the up front information and help provided with no commitment on my part.
