Take warning, do not use CF Transport. Here’s my story. I contacted CF Transport on August 25th to move my 68 Cougar (non-running) from Mississippi to Texas. My only request was that the car be delivered on September 9th. I was not concerned when it would get picked up, just deliver on the 9th. My wife’s grandmother was to meet the driver in MS to load the car at the mechanic ship it is at and my father-in-law made arrangements to be home on the 9th to accept the delivery in TX. I live in the northeast and was not available to be at either location. Only communication that took place between the 25th and the 9th was from phone calls I made to Rodger to ask if any arrangements have been made. I was assured by Rodger that he would do his job and that I had nothing to worry about. I made no more calls until the 9th nor did I receive any calls from CF Transport to let me know what was going on. On the 9th, when I finally heard from Rodger, I was told the truck was coming from the Tallahassee, FL area but had a flat tire and that was causing the delay. By 4pm (central time) Rodger was unable to contact the driver to find out when he would arrive in MS to pick up the car. At this time, if the driver would have arrived to pick up the car, it would not have been delivered in TX until around midnight as it is about a 7-8 hour drive from pick up point to delivery. Therefore I cancelled the transport due to not knowing when the driver would show up to pick up the car, the mechanic shop closed at five, and if car would show up on the 10th, no one would have been there to accept delivery. And now my car is still at the mechanic shop, that I am paying storage fees for, and I have to start all over again coordinating when my wife’s grandmother will be available to meet the driver at the pick-up location and my father-in-law will be home to accept the car delivery. When I cancelled the transport, Rodger showed no sense of concern this happened nor did he make any attempt to apologize or reschedule. Extremely poor customer service which seems all too common these days.

With the transport only being 400 miles it was a one day trip for the driver. On his way to MIssissippi, he had a blown tire and used roadside assistance. I called Patricia, the pickup point of contact when the driver called and stated that it would be a later pickup. After roadside got there they found axle damage. I called Jake and informed him that it would be a later pickup. He canceled the order, and stated that Mickey only had that day to receive the Cougar. I wanted to explored other options with Jake, such as picking up the vehicle that day and delivering to his place of choice the next day. If Mickey could not be there we would have had the driver invoice us for payment. I communicated with all parties, was available to answer all calls. We booked the order without securing a deposit. I think that we provided great customer service. It is unfortunate that we have a dissatisfied customer and we hope to avoid having anymore.
