Janet at Capitol was very informative about the shipping process. I was contact by several people before signing with Janet. She was very pleasant, but the company who picked up my order (A&T Transportation Inc) the driver was the WORSE. First he was late picking up. He gets there and we find that he is UNABLE to drive a stick shift, so luckily my father is a retired truck driver and was able to pull it onto the trailer. The driver DID not do a thorough inspection of the vehicle (he stated later), but did make not of minor things on the sheet. I finally get my vehicle (10+ hrs later than promised) in the dark and he shoves his clipboard in my face to sign. I declined and said I would sign after I inspected my vehicle. Since it was still dark out I only had limited vision. However, what I saw was very disturbing. I found several dings and scratches on the car which were NOT there when it was picked up. The driver became very combative and began to rant and rave what he did not do and question how the marks got on the vehicle. The driver was very young, unprofessional and inexperienced in his work. Upon further investigation, found that A & T Transport has only been in business since the summer of 2011. This is not a company that I would use again or recommend. Capitol was great, but A & T Transportation Inc sucked.

Capitol was great! Except we apparently hired a carrier whose driver on this job had half a brain. So, Apologies to Nikki from everyone here as that was not the plan. The carrier has 31 positive ratings from other brokers that have used their service 31 times and been happy. They currently have 1 negative rating (soon to be 2) License, insurance and 96.9% rating and the fact the carrier had done a job for us previously without incident was the reason we gave them the job. One rogue driver can really throw spanner in the works so again, apologies to Nikki as this was not the smooth, carefree experience we aim for. Cheers, Andy 305 467 2534
