My car was picked up from my home by Freedom Transportation of East Meadow, NY. It was driven away from my home by the owner of the company...NO TRUCK..apparently a violation. Given the information by Carmoza and Freedom Transportation that because I was using them, I could track my vehicle 24/7! Wrong!! Freedom Transportation went MIA for a week. Did not respond to my phone calls OR those of Carmoza who also emailed and texted threatening to involve the police. Carmoza had as much power in getting any information regarding my car as I did..NONE..lots of platitudes and "we'll make it right" but absolutely powerless. This was over the Labor Day Weekend and my daughter was moving to AZ so the car was going to her. Not only did it ruin our last few days with our daughter but I had to cancel my weekend getaway plans because I could not go on vacation wondering if my car had been stolen and what was anyone going to do about it. Freedom off loaded my car to a third party in AZ, without my knowledge or consent...another violation. And for 2 weeks of aggravation, lies and complete disservice from a company who advertises on their site "Higher level of quality", "Treat every car as if it were your own", "Highly trained professionals that monitor every move" I got my deposit refunded. Vince had said that he had ways of getting me more of a refund but as the beginning of September is becoming a bad memory, we are quickly approaching the beginning of November and emails to Vince go unanswered. I gave Carmoza every opportunity to make this right. DON'T USE THEM. My next mission will be to advise AAA to drop their recommendation. Oh and they appeal to the military...we have a Marine in Afghanistan...

Carmoza was in constant contact with Mrs. Fisher during the transport of her vehicle. When Mrs. Fischer advised us that she was unable to contact the assigned carrier, Freedom Transportation, while her vehicle was in transit, we made repeated attempts to reach the carrier ourselves. When we did not receive any return calls from the carrier we contacted the police on Mrs. Fischer's behalf. Mrs. Fischer was also given the personal cell phone number of a manager at Carmoza who spoke to both Mrs. Fischer and her daughter several times over the Labor Day weekend. There was never any deceit or lies on Carmoza's part. Mrs. Fischer's vehicle was picked up in Nanuet, NY and delivered to Glendale, AZ... a trip that typically takes 7 to 10 days. Her vehicle was picked up on 8/24/2011 and delivered on 9/5/2011, two days after her scheduled delivery date. When the carrier contacted us on September 3rd we discovered that they had subcontracted the transport to another carrier without our knowledge - which is a direct violation of our carrier terms of service. Freedom Transportation has been banned from receiving any future business from Carmoza and we have posted negative ratings about their performance on transport industry websites so that other brokers and customers do not have a similar experience with them. Carmoza refunded 100% of the deposit we received from Mrs. Fisher (our entire portion of the transaction).
