Overall, I believe Cascade Vehicle Shipping did a good job moving my car from California to Maryland. I was impressed by my initial phone query about enclosed transport (I later decided to go with an open carrier) with Candice. She gave me this wonderful website to view other auto transport ratings, and from there decided to go with CVS.
Amanda was my primary contact. She was always very professional and informative, although I was frustrated with not getting updates at times I was told to expect them and having to call to find out what was going on. Despite several reassurances, I wasn't completely convinced whether anything was being done to find a shipper. I learned that there is no advantage to making advanced plans for car shipping since shippers don't plan 2-3 weeks in advance. It wasn't until a couple days before I moved and after some pushing before Amanda found an auto transporter that could pick up that same day. She was very good at communicating with me at pick up and just after delivery.
The mover CVS chose (Conyers Auto Transport) was excellent! The driver, Bill Conyers, was very honest and professional, and he communicated well his estimated arrival time at pick up and close on arrival. He had 10 cars to deliver, and told me up front he might take a little longer than he normally would. Because I live in an area where the truck could not go, Bill made every effort to deliver my car as close to my home as possible. I ended up walking a 1/2 mile to the truck, but I was glad to be reunited with my car without any apparent damages.
Despite my initial frustrations, I would still consider using Cascade Vehicle Shipping again. Overall, the people I've spoken to have always been friendly and professional, and they use excellent auto transporters to ship their cars.
