There are two parts to this review. Jeff at Cascade and his broker services and CAA Transport who actually carried the car from San Jose to Boston.

Part 1: My interactions with Jeff at Cascade were excellent. I discussed the trip with him and he gave me clear answers regarding their screening process and how the bid was structured. He then looked up comparable trips and we set a price to put out a bid. When I did sign up, it took 10 minutes to find a truck to take the job. I felt the price was fair.

Part 2: The transport company was pretty good. They arrived 3 days early but failed to call 24 hours ahead of time to let us know. They had to wait for 4 hours, which they obviously did willingly. They were asked to deliver within a particular week. They delivered Tuesday morning. Not to the front door ("the 18-wheeler couldn't make it up the street"), but at a nearby hotel. They did call ahead of time and where there at the time promised. The car, most importantly, was in exactly the same condition it was when it left San Jose. That's the bottom line. So the early pickup was slight annoying, but just that "slightly". So was the fact they didn't deliver to the door. But the rest was all good. No real complaints.
