Original quote could not be met. Increased price was agreed to after ~2 weeks. Cascade could not make contact with shipper after the car was picked up. Driver did not leave contact information with the pick-up contact. We did not know the status of the shipment until the car arrived. Carrier did not care, just wanted to get paid upon arrival. VERY inconvenient and disorganized. Driver put steel wheel hubs from in the trunk during transport which left rust rings on the trunk carpet. Again, did not care, just wanted his money. Cascade tried. They should know more about their contract carriers and keep contact records up to date. I paid for the shipment as well as spent a lot of time trying to locate the carrier's telephone numbers. This was a frustrating experience. My clients look to mae as the expert in my industry and if I conducted business in this manner I would lose them to my competition. Being told "we have never lost a car" did not raise my level of confidence when we could not find the carrier during transport.
