REBECCA 360-834-7898 rebecca@cascadevehicleshipping.com Vinod, here is some information that may possibly help you understand how these transport companies work. We have NO hidden costs and are completely honest with our customers at all times........And I did split the extra $80 with you!
A QUICK BREAKDOWN OF THE AUTO SHIPPING INDUSTRY
People dont ship their car every day, so they are not familiar with the workings of this crazy industry...... please keep in mind that we are bidding for truck space to get your vehicle assigned to a carrier.
This industry is controlled by brokers who have access to drivers nationwide for all the various routes that are brought to us by our customers. The vehicles are posted onto the National Freight Board and on average there are 25,000+ vehicles waiting to be assigned to carriers. This is where the drivers go to pick their freight but keep in mind the drivers are the only ones who choose what they will transport on their carrier. Our goal is to save our customers money and we are more than happy to post your vehicle at a lower rate than our computer generated quote recommends for your route. We will work for FREE until we find a driver for your vehicle, which means you are not at risk
The quotes we provide are an estimate of what we believe it will take for a driver to take your vehicle for that particular route. We base that off past history, freight board comparisons on your route and current trends. All brokers that give you a quote are giving you just that....a quote, it's not a fixed price, it never is until a particular driver commits to that vehicle and route. You will find that several companies will purposely give you a LOW BALL quote just to get your order, charge a deposit that is non-refundable and your vehicle never gets shipped.
Our job as auto transport brokers is to get your vehicle moved. If we have to come back with some bad news, like a driver asking for more money, then it's our job to do so, it is at that point you have the option to say yes or no.
Pricing in this industry is a living breathing monster. There is no price guide or $$ per mile from state to state. There are busy seasons when it costs more and slow seasons, when you can typically get better pricing from the drivers. Again, we don't make a penny until we get a reputable driver to pick up your vehicle, so it does us NO GOOD to give you a quote that is too low to attract a driver.
With that being said, there are times when our quotes or estimates are not exactly what the drivers are looking for. If our quote or estimate is not the market value, the drivers will call and ask for the load, but let us know what they are willing to do the job for. We always say ....there is no right price until a carrier accepts the load.....!
Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you for the review. Rebecca
