I was worned by everyone I talked to about this type of activity (shipping a vehicle) and went into this very cautionary and alert to problems. I had gotten quotes from different companies and some returned calls and some did not. I had gotten Cascade's contact information off of the internet (can't remember the site but it was a site that rated all the carriers) and looked at reviews; they were all positive and the rating was high so I called. From the moment I called til the day the car arrived, I was kept informed and reassured that everything was on schedule and doing well. The costs were competitive (and what I cared most was value and trust and my car making it in one piece, money was secondary to me), but I can say that Cascade was the best price for what I received and was delivered to me.
I would use this carrier again, and may on future needs and would recemend them to anyone I know, great people and honest from my dealings.... and sadly they were one of the only companies that actually called me back and was interested. I also wanted to say that those that I dealt with in Anchorage at the port were excellent as well, don't remember all the names or contacts but they treated me great as well.
All my fears and warnings about shipping a car never came true, hopefully your experience can be as good as mine was (we all know that things can and do happen that are out of everyone's control, even the carriers, accidents do happen even tot he best), thankfully that didn't happen to me. Oh and to add, the port, ship and stops and pickups were all taken care of by Cascade and I had nothing needed for any of that.
