I used Cascade to transport my Ford Focus from New Castle, DE to Seattle, WA. The initial quote that I got was for $1300 to move the car from New Castle, DE to Bellingham, WA but they had difficulty locating a carrier that would take the car any further than Seattle. Because I was pressed for time in getting access to the car, I changed the final destination to Seattle and then went with the first carrier that made an offer which was KJ Falcon Logistics out of Southampton, PA.

KJ Falcon was actually able to pick the car up 4 days earlier than initially quoted because they happened to have a truck traveling through Delaware. It made it to WA in 6 days which worked out well because it arrived the day after my flight to Seattle arrived. The only downside was that the carrier did not arrive until 11 PM that evening, so with a 2 hour drive to Bellingham afterwards (and not yet adjusted to west coast time) I opted to stay the night in a hotel.

Michael Walker at Cascade was willing to go above and beyond to help me - I had not expected the car to arrive the day after I had arrived and as such had not yet gotten to my bank to get the cash or cashier's check to pay for the shipping. He had offered to contact friends in Seattle to give me a ride to a bank to get things sorted out if necessary so I wouldn't have to rely on cabs.

The only negative thing I'd say is that the driver was difficult to understand on the phone due to a combination of bad cellular reception (I am assuming he was using a Bluetooth headset) and a thick accent. However, when I called KJ Falcon after hours to tell them I could not make out the driver's phone number that he had left on my voicemail, they sent it to me via text message.

Additionally, the day they did deliver the car as I said it was not until 11PM - after earlier in the day having been told by the driver that it'd be there between 7-8. However, I understand the realities of this business are so variable due to traffic and other people being on time to pick up/drop off their cars. I was just happy that the car did arrive on the stated day (albeit with only an hour to spare).

All in all, a good experience.

Michael Walker 360-940-7078. Thank you for the great review Joseph. I was very happy that we were able to give you good service and get your car picked up even though DE to Bellingham turned out to be a problem. In truth, that is probably about the hardest route in America. Once we switched to Seattle it was easy to get the carrier. We do things like that here at Cascade.
