The truck driver, David, tried to stay in touch often, but apparently had problems with his cell phone service. Also, there was a slight language barrier, particularly over a cell phone connection. It probably did not help to have an anxious teenager (her car...) involved in some conversations. Between traffic problems and his truck breaking down near LA, he did arrive at the dropoff location, but about 7 hours late. This wasn't a big problem for us, as we had allowed for some time to arrange the handoff anyway. When he arrived, he was very courteous and went to work unloading the car. The car was in good shape. Overall, I would say that unexpected things do happen, and that he wasn't thrilled with the delay either. From what I could tell, this was an unfortunate set of events, but not a reason to choose another carrier.
