When looking to ship my vehicle cross-country for the second time (good overall experience the first time), I decided to pay a "peace of mind" premium to use Cascade Vehicle Shipping due to their excellent reviews (to be extra sure of good service).
Due to this being the wintertime, I understood that there could potentially bel delays. To make a long story short, my vehicle was picked up on time, but delivered at almost midnight after 19 days (vs. 10 day estimate).
The most frustrating part was that whenever I called Cascade, I got a response that they did not know the status of my vehicle and that they would call back. While they were pleasant on the phone, I continued to unsuccessfully follow up for information for days because I did not receive any updates on when my vehicle would arrive.
While they do not own the trucks and drivers, there is a reason that I was willing to pay more. I mistakenly assumed that they would choose more reliable drivers or make the extra effort to at least keep me informed. On this account, I was disappointed and will choose a different company in the future.
