Job Completed, Good Price, Poor Communication

The broker representative of Cascade Vehicle Shipping, Monica, was very helpful in informing, helping me question, what a reliable/good broker and transporter would be. They had VERY competitive prices, compared to the other seven five star brokers I called. However, I had some issues with communication with Monica and the transporter, VS Transport. The day before the scheduled pick up date, no one called me to inform me of when my car would be picked up. I took initiative to call Monica to get peace of mind that my car was being picked up, and she said someone would call me back. No one called back. I called Monica the day of pick up and that was when she was able to get a hold of VS Transport dispatcher. When the dispatcher did call she was very passive in answering my questions and time conflicts we had. The car was picked up a day after the scheduled pick up date. The dispatcher did call the day of pick up and 30-60 min prior to pick up so that I would be ready. Once VS Transport arrived, they were very nice. The car was delivered on time as scheduled and without any problems.

I did not appreciate the poor communication the transporter had in notifying me of when the car would be picked up the day before, and I did not appreciate the lack of follow-up of Monica when I called for reassurance, being that no one called me back.

Would I use them again, why not? I have faith that they're a good company. Everyone was very nice and courteous, so I'm sure this review will be taken as good constructive criticism. The price they offered was also hard to beat.

In short, everyone was very nice and courteous, and importantly, my car was picked up and delivered promptly without any issues, can't complain about that.
