I chose Cascade Vehicle Shipping because Jeff provided the most detailed explanation in comparison to the approximately 20 other brokers I called.
On the other hand, the payment plan was not explained as well as I would have liked. When I called back to confirm shipping and make my "down payment" I spoke with another rep (not Jeff). It was not explained to me that my card was not being charged the full $750. I did not understand until I actually spoke with the transport driver that I owed the transport company cash and the broker took a fee not a "down payment."
Also, the communication between the broker and the transport company was minimal, which was surprising. Jeff did not know that my vehicle was picked up from DC and did not know when it was dropped off. I see now that I was receiving two different services, but at the time I was unaware of that process.
I liked the quality of service and the extent of knowledge Jeff provided. Again, it was mainly through speaking with Jeff in particular that I chose Cascade Vehicle Shipping.
