I used DAS the last time I had a coast to coast move and they damaged my Porsche. This time I wanted an enclosed carrier and to personally meet the driver. Cascade is a broker and got me a great price from two drivers that have a company based in Phoenix. The driver was really friendly and picked up my BMW and Porsche on time. We loaded the cars together and he was very cautious and even put plastic over the cars to protect them. My only complaint was that the truck was semi-enclosed and not fully enclosed as I was led to believe (side curtains vs. a semi-trailer). In the end this made little difference though. The driver was very professional and told me this is what he does for a living with his business partner so he has an interest in providing great service. At first I was suspicious of using a middleman/broker but now I realize that they weed out the poor performing drivers for hire and have an interest in providing good service, given the stiff competition in this market. Just look at all the numerous transport brokers/companies listed on this website. If you want to go enclosed, request D & D transport through Cascade. My driver's name was Cam. Excellent guy, he really knew what he was doing. Spend the extra bucks on enclosed and eliminate the hassle of receiving a damaged car with no accountability from a larger transport company.
