My husband was being transfered from California to Indiana, his plane was leaving California on the 6th of March. When I called to book the transfer of the truck I specifically asked if the truck could be picked up between the 3rd and the 5th of March. I was told that that would not be a problem. The night of the 4th I still had not recieved confirmation on a pick up time for the truck- I then called to check in and was told that the truck had still not been assigned a driver. The plan was made to wait it out till end of buisness Friday. Not only did I not recieve a follow up call to let me know the truck had STILL not been assigned a driver I had to call the next day and was told I needed to have a back up plan. So on the 5th of March the final day the truck was able to shipped my husband had to find someone to leave his truck with that would sign the papers over for the driver. We then got a call saying the truck would eb picked up on the 10th of March and delivered on the 15th, however we were asked to pay $50 more dollars. We declined to play the extra money so the money owed the drived came off of our orignial deposit that was put on our credit card and we payed it to the driver in cash. Once our truck was picked up there were no more concerns. The driver stayed in contact with us the whole time he was trasposrting and even delivered the truck a day earlier that he thought he would be able to. I did read after the fact in the fine print of the contract that they cannot be held accountable to the dates given- however wehn I explained that to Blaine my service rep I feel that he should have made that more clear when I had explained my husband was going to be leaving the state. Having a back up plan was not that big of a deal, however the lack of communication in what Cascade was actually able to make happen and then how it was handled after they did not make the deadline is what is so frusterating.

blaine@cascadevehicleshipping.com 360-834-7898. Laura, I am extremely sorry we could not get your vehicle picked up within the limited window we had to work with, but as I indicated to you, I thought we should be able to meet those dates. I did not at anytime, however, make a promise to that extent. Again, I am sorry the vehicle was not picked within your time frame.
