To begin with, Centric Carriers had very positive reviews and, although not the cheapest, a very good price. I dealt with Jonathan, who was very professional and understood the importance of keeping the customer in the loop. Please understand: the more flexible you can be, the smoother this will go. Also, the "first available date" is not a pick up reservation. This was clear from other reviews I read, but it bears repeating. It seems like transporters think about 1 or 2 days in advance, so your pick up may seem "last minute". My available date was 7/8 and my car was picked up 7/15. Jonathan was in touch by phone or email almost daily with updates. He even used his resources to "sweeten the pot" for the carriers he was in touch with. My car made it to me quickly with no problems.
