STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS
We “hired” Daniel to ship our new truck from Florida to Oklahoma on Thursday April 9th. We worked with someone named “Dan”. Dan was intensely high pressure to get us to let him ship our truck; he assured us that the truck would be picked up at the dealership in Florida the same day by “his driver” and dropped off 4 days later in Oklahoma. This companies website promises among other things: GPS tracking, 21 point inspections on pickup and drop off as well as professional and courteous service.We paid a $100 fee directly to Dan on the day of pickup and that was the last time we ever hear from Dan at Coast to Cost Logistics. They never returned ANY calls, emails or txt messages whatsoever. After calling the local police and working with the car dealership in Florida we were able to finally contact the actual company that was shipping the truck to us; they were no pleasure to deal with themselves, but that’s another story all together. This company advised us that the truck was still sitting on a truck hauler truck and would not be leaving Florida for 3 more days (2 days after it was guaranteed to arrive at its destination). In 2020 to have a high value truck go completely untracked and totally unaccounted for for 8 days is totally unacceptable.
The truck arrived 4 days late with again ZERO communication from anyone. Dan and Coast to Coast logistics are completely out of the picture. DO NOT USE THIS BROKER COMPANY. They own no trucks and have no drivers; they simply place your shipment request on a national broker board and then let the chips fall where they may (after they collect their $100 fee). How can Coast to Coast Logistics LLC have GPS tracking services and a “21 point inspections” if its not even their company that is shipping the vehicle? It’s complete non-sense.This company was awful and I would encourage you to never use their services. They are not a trucking company; they are a shady brokerage firm and they provide no service whatsoever. Book directly with an actual trucking company and avoid the disaster of Coast to Coast Logistics “involvement”.
