I chose to purchase a new vehicle over the phone from a dealership in California, since the model I wanted wasn't allocated in Colorado, where I live. I looked at how much it would cost for me to go get it myself, and, while it was about the same dollars as having it shipped, it would have taken me at least 3 days of my time IF everything went smoothly. Instead, I opted to have the vehicle transported professionally.
After a lot of web research, including Google reviews, Yelp, the Better Business Bureau, etc., I chose Coastal Car Transport to get my brand new vehicle from the LA Basin out to northeast Colorado. I specifically sought to work with Henry - again, based on the reviews.
Henry was very straightforward, professional and effective. I told him when and where to pick up my new vehicle, gave him a contact at the dealership, and I was done - he handled everything else. Every 'i' was dotted and 't' crossed, and the process went without a hitch. Henry provided timely updates via email when the driver was dispatched, my vehicle was loaded and in transit, and finally confirming delivery. My vehicle was delivered to my driveway and had zero damage of any kind - nothing - despite a journey on an open trailer for more than 1000 miles. That really exceeded my expectations since I had read a lot of concerning stories on the web. As such, I was pretty picky about whom I chose, and everything worked out great. Big relief.
Oh, and the price was good, too. I got a couple of other quotes and Coastal's met or beat anyone else's, and their reputation and reviews were better. For a reason: flawless execution at a competitive price. Can't get much better than that.
