Transporting a vehicle from California to other state can be stressful especially for first timers. I first went to a friend’s transport company who posted on electronic loading board. It stayed there for several days without any takers. My son needed it Virginia in the next few days so that on day no. 5, I solicited quotes from brokers and received varying offers. I checked Yelp and Transport Reviews for highly rated transporter rather than the lowest quote. Some transporters get high reviews here but low on yelp, so I went with one quote from a company with consistently high ratings on both which is Coastal Car Transport. I phoned Shawn immediately and told him my logistics situation. He called me back in a few minutes and told me the car would be picked up the next day and initiated the transaction. It was followed by a confirmation e-mail receipt for the 25% DP and delivery schedule information on the assigned transportation company, JKUSA LLC. Within an hour, I got a call from the transport company who gave instructions on the pickup time and date. I was contacted by the driver an hour before the scheduled pick up time that he’ll be arriving as scheduled. Inspection was made before loading to the trailer and Bill of Lading was executed. Some stuff were included inside the trunk and the transport company is very considerate to allow me a few overages. Three days later, Shawn of Coastal Car Transport emailed a confirmation that the vehicle was in transit and will arrive as scheduled. The delivery was actually one day ahead and we were contacted by JKUSA ahead of time and coordinated the pick-up place. The car was delivered ahead of schedule and in the same condition as was picked-up. No hassle, no fuss. Textbook case of transporting a vehicle (weather permitting). I now learned that trying to save a few bucks is not worth the stress. Transport companies are not made equal. I highly recommend this company for any vehicle transport needs.
