Still waiting.....

Update to our last post.. It's been two months since we put in our order on "Stand by Shipping", receive automated email saying they are still working on finding a driver, but there hasn't been one available for our route. Really??? No drivers are going from east coast to west coast on I-10? That's hard to believe. We're thinking it's the quote they gave us to transport that is holding everything up. We can always upgrade to "Standard Shipping", but that is about $300 more than the original quote. We are still waiting for our vehicle to be transported at this time.

We're sorry this customer feels this way. We have shipped their cars 3 times in the past and always set them up with a driver quickly because they went with our STANDARD and ENCLOSED shipping options. This time the client wanted to try our Stand-by Shipping option because they said they have a lot of time to move the car and they know the drivers are independent. Stand-by quotes are the lowest possible price for the route but not guaranteed to move within a certain time-frame because we can't guarantee the low price will be accepted by all drivers right away, Stand-by is a starting point and if you are anxious we recommend pricing your load at our Standard Shipping quotes to move it faster. This customer does not want to, therefore they are waiting because we cannot force the drivers to take their load for a cheap price, as stated upfront. NOTE: We have given this client 2 driver options already that they have declined, 1 was a Standard spot and 1 for a spot with a driver only $65 more than the Stand-by quote, but the customer would not approve either option so we are looking for other drivers for them at this time. We work very hard for our clients and wish they always feel we are doing our best for them at all times. It's unfortunate this customer doesn't after all our good history with them though.
