Overall, I was very dissapointed with Creative Rides. I admit some of the problems were my fault, and there were weather problems too. I don't hold these against Creative Rides. However, the rest of the problems were things that they could have addressed, but didn't.
I contacted them to transport my car a little less than a week before I needed it moved. The car was available early and I tried to reach them to see if they could arrange for earlier pickup. I couldn't get a hold of Mike he didn't return my call or email. In the meantime I was contacted by another carrier. The other carrier made it sound like they were bigger and better than Creative and that I'd have a better chance of getting my car moved with them. Creative DID find me a driver for the day of my pickup, but I had already started working with this other carrier. So I cancelled my order with Creative beliving the other carrier also had a driver lined up. It turns out they didn't and my order with the other company fell through. I called back Creative and apologized for my mistake.I gave them the order exclusively on a Tuesday morning. I followed up with them on a regular basis, but they could not locate a driver for me. On Friday I left two messages for Mike, actually speaking with a coworker who told me Mike was on the phone but that they would let him know to call me back. I never got a call back on Friday, Saturday or Monday. I found out that the Creative Rides office was affected by a tropical storm on Monday. their phones were down and the owner was working from his house. They cannot control the weather, and I can certainly appreciate that. Again, I left several messages for Mike with the owner Ron and never got a call back from Mike. I eventually spoke to him on Monday and as it was very near the end of the day, I had to cancel the order. They had the order for a week and could not find me a driver. The communication and customer service was not good. The phone system is poor, and with so many messages and emails left unanswered I was never sure what was going on with the order. It took 3 calls to cancel the order and have it taken off the central dispatch board. I contacted another carrier and my car was picked up within 24 hours.
