Dear Customer, thank you for your detailed feedback. We went over your order and as per our system, you did have a driver assigned, however, he canceled the order on the day of pick up. Unfortunately, situations like that happen and we are forced to search for alternative options in a timely manner. Sometimes they end up being more expensive for the last minute booking. Your driver doesn't get the whole payment from you, since it is divided into two parts: the first part is a partial deposit that covers fees, taxes, and insurance and the second part is the driver's payment. This is how most carrier companies operate. We are so sorry for the price change and the delay with your order, we know that it is definitely not something you want to deal with over the holidays. We are so sad to let you down and we hope for your understanding. Please accept our apologies.
