Having never shipped a car before, I must say that from the first phone call to Eileen to the time the car was safely in my driveway, everything went very quickly and very smoothly. I admit I was nervous but Eileen calmed my fears and kept reassuring me that everything would be just fine.
Quite honestly, I don't know how the driver even made it from point A to point B in one day. It was snowing in Maryland and we had a huge snowstorm in Rochester where travel was horrendous. We already had 15 inches of snow on the ground when the car arrived and by the end of the day it was 22 inches plus. The driver certainly earned his paycheck that day.
I contacted Eileen on Thursday morning. She worked very hard and fast to negotiate a fair and reasonable transport charge and thanks to technology, by 3 o'clock that afternoon a contract was signed.
Our communication with one another was excellent, despite a short time that she was unable to contact me due to an unforeseen matter on her part. However, the driver was in contact with me twice from the road.
Time from my first conversation with Eileen to the time our car was loaded on the truck - 3 1/2 days.
Time from Maryland to NY - 1 day.
The driver called me Tuesday morning at 8:00 a.m. and said he would be to my house in an hour. Due to bad weather conditions it took him a little over 2 hours but to me that was amazing as we weren't going out in the storm anyhow. I don't know how he did it but am very grateful to him for braving the elements to get our little red car to us.
I highly recommend speaking to Eileen at DNA Transport for your car transport needs. I have already recommended her to a friend. Rest assured, you will not be disappointed. Thank you once again Eileen and please thank your driver too. I hope he got out of "Dodge" before the huge traffic jam on two of our major highways causing traffic to be at a dead stop for over 4 hours!
