GHOSTED - Multiple Misrepresentations, Attempted to charge higher price than contracted, refuse to refund full deposit unless I sign false waivers absolving them of any wrongdoing. Contracted with Jane Lee, supervisor for DRS Transports on August 3 and arranged to ship vehicle from Los Angeles to Mineola, NY for $1600. Signed contract and paid the deposit as required. I was promised the vehicle would be picked up Saturday August 8, 2020. As of Monday August 10th no transport. DRS Transports secretly increased the contract price without telling me. When I confronted them, they said "if we keep the original price ($1600) your car will sit until COVID is over.". Then WHY quote $1600? Why allow me to pay a deposit based on that price? Bait and Switch. ILLEGAL PRACTICES AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
