They will charge you a $100 deposit up front, apparently before the job is assigned to a driver. Their cancellation policy says you can get the deposit back up until the point a driver has been assigned. I paid my deposit on 1/11, they sent the job out to a trucking company (carrier) on 1/13. On 1/28 I asked for an update and they told me a driver had not yet been assigned which is why they couldn’t give me a driver name and number to contact and discuss my move. When I tried to cancel and ask for a refund the next day, they told me I couldn’t get one because a driver had been assigned. I said no, you said a carrier has been assigned, not a driver. They told me I was using semantics and still couldn’t get a refund. Semantics?? I was only using the terminology they used in their emails and in their own policy. Basically, it’s terrible business practices to create a policy and no follow it. It’s even worse business to create a policy that doesn’t apply to situations you will commonly face. And it’s unethical business to not adhere to your own policies as written. They tried to scare me out of posting my accurate review, but everything I’m saying is true. Will they ship your car? Maybe. They’re just brokers so they can’t guarantee anything. I just know that if their business practices are this shoddy, I can’t recommend.
